Early 19th century
The scrolled pediment centering an urn-shaped finial, above a molded cornice and a pair of glazed doors, the lower section with slant front opening to reveal a fitted interior with a prospect door, document drawers and valanced pigeonholes, over a conforming case with four graduated drawers, raised on splayed feet. Height 8 feet 2 inches, width 24 1/2 inches, depth 23 /12 inches. Estimate $3,000-5,000
